How to get the most out of your soyful cAndle

*  When burning the candle for the first time, make sure the wax melts ALL the way to the edge of the glass/tin (called the melt pool). This helps the candle burn evenly without leaving wax on the sides of the glass/tin. Recommended 1st burn time is 2-3 hours.

*  Trim wick 6mm before each burn to help prevent carbon build up resulting in a 'mushroomed' wick (a natural characteristic of using cotton wicks). It will also mean a less smoky burn, reduced soot and will help stop wick bits falling into the wax pool.

*  When your candle has cooled down or not in use, keep the lid on it to increase the longevity of the frgrane and also to keep the surface clear of contaminants (dust, grime etc...).

*  Ideally, your candle should be extinguished by dipping the wick into its own melt pool and returning it back up in the upright position using a wick dipper - this will reduce smoke emitted from the candle.

*  ALWAYS read the warning label on the bottom of the candle!
